Roy Edward Sears 75 of Summersville WV entered into rest on Monday March 7, 2022. Born on March 1, 1947, to Delmer and Beatrice (Cottrell) Sears.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Thelma Sears, Linda Cain – Copen, Janice Brady.

He is survived by his son, Roy Sears Jr. and his daughter Melina Sears. Grandchildren; David Legg, Bryan Goans, Hadyen Morrison. His sisters Carol Burns, Barbara Green, Teresa Good.

Funeral Service for Roy will be on Friday March 11, 2022, at 1:00 pm, a viewing for family and friends will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay WV, with minister Daniel Tanner. Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery at Ivydale, WV.
