Sally Sue (Alley) Wood

Sally Sue (Alley) Wood 71, always in church and strong in her faith, she has gone home to be with the Lord. She always had so much love to give and loved people and animals alike no one, and nothing left her home hungry or without love.

Sally was very close to her family and was loved by everyone she met. She never knew a stranger.  She was strong and intelligent and there was no task she could not handle. She will be missed by the many people touched by her compassion.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Lacey and Flora Edith (Moore) Alley, siblings, Margaret Brown, Charles Alley, Doris Nichols, Harry Alley, Judy Kincaid, and grandparents.

She is survived by; husband, Thornton Wood, children, Stephanie (Roger) Frame, David (Tina) Wood, Jeff (Jennifer) Wood, grandchildren; Sarah Frame, Victoria Frame, and Matthew Wood.

A visitation for Sallys friends and family will be held on Monday     March 7, 2022, at Pennington Smith Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, WV from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a graveside service to follow at Rest Lawn Memory Gardens, Victor WV at 1:00 pm.
