Samuel Levi Moore

Samuel Levi Moore, 38, of Dixie, WV won his battle and was welcomed to his place of peace and eternal love by those that had gone on before him on June 23, 2022, especially Travis.

Sam was welcomed into this world March 2, 1984, by his parents, Robert, and Joyce Moore along with his big brother and sister Robbie and Erica Moore.  He was always a good son, brother, friend and most of all uncle to Heather Harper, Thorn and Levi Moore, Vivian and Leah Adkins, Jaelyn Slaven and Jaxson Barker.

He was a mechanic for Auxier Welding for many years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting. His best friends were Jack (His Dog) and J.D. Haynes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Samuel and Kathleen Moore, Dencil and Janie Blankenship and his uncle Jeff Moore.

He is survived by his parents Robert and Joyce Moore, brother Robbie (Tammi) Moore, sister, Erica (Matt) Moore of Dixie, WV, and sister Christi Foster of Adonijah WV along with his nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his friends.

We all know he is smiling from above without pain and sorrow watching over and protecting us as he always did. He was a big strong man with a heart of gold and the first to respond when other needed help.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 1, 2022, at 1:00 Pm. At the Blankenship/Osborne Cemetery, Ovapa, WV with his mother officiating the ceremony with the help of family and friends.  If we listen closely to the wind, I’m sure we will hear him say “Don’t be Stupid”.
