Sandra Kay Morton

Sandra Kay Morton, 76 of Lizemores, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Smith; sons, Steve (Elizabeth) Morton and Andrew Morton; ten grandchildren, Carter (Destinee) Morton, Ashton (Summer) Morton, Brianna Smith, Bailey Smith, Braden Smith, Grace Morton, Zoey Morton, Chase Morton, Paislea Morton and Alyana Morton; four great grandchildren, Sylus Morton, Zakyrie Morton, Finnley Morton and Luka Morton; Six brothers, Ralph Lane, Willie Lane, Frank Lane, Ray Lane, Dave Lane and Johnny Lane; seven sisters, Wilma Ramsey, Kathy Legg, Becky Pritt, Barbara Price, Rachel Walters, Judy Holt and Donna Cooper; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Ricky; parents, Everett and Ruby Lane; brother, Ronald Lane and sister, Wanda Taylor.

Sandra was a longtime member of the Lizemores United Methodist Church. She loved the Lord and would sing his praises often through song. She also loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A private memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf at Clay County Bank.
