Shane Michael Truman

It is with great sadness the family of Shane Michael Truman, 20, of Lizemore and Jodie, announces his passing.

Born October 26th, 2003. He entered into rest doing the thing he loved most on Sunday, November 19th, 2023. Shane was an avid outdoorsman; he was also a hard worker dedicated to his job (unless it was hunting season).

He is preceded in death by his uncle AJ Mullins (Bubba) of Jodie.

He is survived by his parents Carrie and Jamie Truman of Jodie, his brothers Nathan and Zack Truman of Jodie. His Nana Zelma Sullivan of Jodie. Grandparents Pam and Gene Truman of Lizemore. Great - Grandmother Wanda of Lizemore. His aunt and uncle, Kim and Brian Truman of Jodie, cousin Kaylee McKinney of Dog Run. His aunt and uncle Tasha and Jimmy Truman, cousins Adrianna, Eliza and Amelia Truman of Jodie. Along with many of his infamous hunting stories that we will all continue to share. 

His service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV.
