Sharon Rogers

Sharon Ann Rogers, 74, of Clay, peacefully passed away at home on December 24, 2022. She was born July 29,1948 and was the daughter of the late Ralph & Stella Shaver of Muddelty, WV. Sharon was a loving wife, mother and maw maw. She is preceded in death by her Sister Elizabeth Shaver of Muddelty, WV, infant daughter Rene Rae Rogers and Grandson Shawn Michael Roat of Clay, WV. 

She leaves behind her loving husband Earnest R. Rogers of Clay WV, daughter Dawn Whiteley (Russ) of Clay, WV, granddaughter Morgan Whiteley of Morgantown, WV, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Adams, Donna Moore, Connie Morris, Ronda Shaver, Tammy Meadows, brothers Allen Shaver and Roger Shaver. Sharon is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.

Services will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV, Visitation will be from 11-12 pm. Burial will follow in the Asbury Cemetery, Dog Run, WV.
