Shirley Ann Tanner, 87 of Ivydale WV entered her heavenly home on June 11, 2023, with her family by her side, especially her husband of 69 years Arnold Tanner.
Shirley was born November 1, 1935, in Fairdale, WV to the Late Wayne and Edith (Duncan) Cozart. She is preceded in death by her son Gary Tanner.
Shirley put up a long fight with Alzheimer’s, but anyone who knew her, knew her smile, love, joy, her laughter, and her positivity.
Shirley is survived by her husband Arnold, daughter, Connie (Tanner) Meany (Greg) of West Chester, PA, sisters, Doris Dickens of Nebo, WV and Violet Edwards of Big Chimney, WV, grandchildren, Chasity Cloutier Tanner, Gary Tanner, great grandchildren, Christa, Trey, Bailey, Great-great grandchildren, Tanner and Jameson.
Funeral Service for Shirley will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Nebo Baptist Church, Nebo, WV at 1:00, with a visitation for friends and family from 12 to 1:00 with Kenneth Tanner officiating.
