Stephen Lane Gray

Stephen Lane Gray, 68, of Clendenin, WV entered into rest on November 19, 2023, at Charleston, WV.

He was born on August 3, 1955, to the late Russell and Lenora (Brooks) Gray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob Allen Myers.

He is survived by his wife, Joretta Gray; daughter, Heather (Joey) Myers; son, Adam Gray (Mollie); grandchildren, Kassidy, Dalton, Jordan, Landon, Braxten Gray and Aadam Canter; brother, Rusty (Janette) Gray; nephews, Tristen, Evan, and Breken Gray and a special nephew, J.C. (Bigley Bawler) Kirwin.

Stephen was a 1973 graduate of Clay County High School and a 1977 graduate of Fairmont State and a member of the TKE Fraternity. He was employed as a well tender for 38 years after that time he retired.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 2:00 pm at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV, with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The service will be conducted by Pastor Austin Harper.
