Stephen Douglas Rhodes
May 30, 1948 – May 21, 2023
Stephen Douglas Rhodes passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2023.
He was the son of the late Jay and Daisy (Brady) Rhodes. He was preceded
in death by brothers, Dolan Rhodes, Donnie Rhodes and sister Zola Triplett (Rhodes).
Stephen was the devoted husband for 30 years of Joyce M. Rhodes.
Devoted father of Lisa Perry (Rhodes), Christine Steen (Rhodes), and his son Jeffery Rhodes. Stepfather of
Joy Lamartina- Ardillo. He is survived by grandchildren Justin, Danny, Charley Steen and Jayden Rhodes.
Step grandchildren Vincent and Maria Ardillo. He is also survived by brothers Roland, Robert, Philip Rhodes and James Hamrick.
Service will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Wilsons Smith Funeral
Home, 154 Main St., Clay, W. Va.
Followed by graveside service at the Rhodes family cemetery at 1:30 pm
Eulogy by Roland Rhodes.
