Our beloved Troy Andrew Adkins, 53 of Kenna WV entered his heavenly home on October 16, 2022, with his family by his side. Troy was born on October 19, 1968, to Jimmy Dale (Missy) Adkins of Strange Creek, WV, and Linda (Ward) Smith of Troutsville, VA.
Troy is survived by his wife Angie; daughter, Dalton Adkins, (Ryan) of Charleston, S.C., sons, Dillon Adkins of Charleston, S.C., Tyler Adkins and Taylor Adkins of Kenna, WV, stepchildren, Kelsea (Ritchie) Gobble of Ripley, WV, Mathew Samples of Maysel, WV, Nathan (Caitlyn) Lynch of Fairplain, WV. He also is survived by his brother, Easton (Kassi) Adkins of Nashville, Tenn, step siblings, Chelsea (Tyler) Bennett, Kayla (Rob) Parfitt, Dakota (Kashayla) Walker, Whitney Walker.
Troy is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Clyde “Newt” Fisher, paternal grandmother Esther Adkins.
Troy served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp.
Troy could be found in his free time with his family, hunting, golfing, woodworking and always showing his sense of humor.
Funeral service for Troy will be 2:00 on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at
Walnut Grove Methodist Church, 2072 Wilson Ridge Road, Duck, WV 25063, with a one-hour visitation prior to funeral for friends and family.
