William Benjamin Adkins, 52, of Lizemores, entered into rest on October 23, 2022, in Montgomery, WV.
Born on February 16, 1970, in Albany New York, he was the son of the late Junior Lee Adkins and Evelyn (Stratton) Adkins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Dalton Benjamin Adkins.
William is survived by his mother, Evelyn (Stratton) Adkins; sons, Ethan Adkins, and Jacob (Zoey) Adkins; Michelle Adkins and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
William was a disabled coal miner and worked several years at Shoney’s in Kanawha City.
He loved spending quality time with his children and relaxing in the evening by the fire. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Nascar, # 9 Chase Elliot was his favorite, being around his fur babies and had a special bond with 3 of his fur babies Roxie, Bird, and Lillie.
He will be missed and loved by many great friends and family.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2022, at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay, WV, with Pastor Shane Wynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Bickmore. Friends may call on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
