Zachary Blake Fugett
August 21, 2004 ~ May 25, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Zachary Blake Fugett, who left us far too soon on May 25, 2025, at the age of 20.
Zachary was known for his kind spirit and warm heart. He found joy in the simple things – spending time with his friends and family, driving around with no set destination, casting a line while fishing, taking a peaceful stroll through the woods, or lending a hand with yard work. No task was too small if it meant helping someone out. Zack never hesitated to be there for others, always ready to offer a smile, a ride, or his time.
After graduating, Zachary began working for PennLine, where he spent a year learning the value of hard work and teamwork. He later joined Slurry Pavers Inc. as a loader operator. Through dedication and perseverance, he worked his way up to become a paving foreman – an achievement he was proud of and earned through his strong work ethic and leadership.
He is survived by his loving parents, Bruce and Jennifer Fugett; his brother Isaac; and his sister, Madison Fugett, who all cherished him deeply. Zachary held a special place in his heart for his grandma, Mary Jane, whom he deeply adored. His bond with his family was one of love, laughter, and lasting memories. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Ike and Betty Moore, as well as several aunts and cousins.
Zachary was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bud Runion; his uncle Randy Runion; his cousins, JW English and Derek Smith – all of whom he loved dearly and now joins in eternal peace.
Zachary’s light and laughter will be missed beyond measure. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
