Zella Brown Obituary
Zella M. (Carr) Brown, 78, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Clay County, WV, entered into rest Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in Franklin, Indiana.
Born on April 12, 1929, at Wallback, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ora Carr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Carr.
She was a cook for 15 years in nursing homes. She loved gardening, reading, and crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver Brown of Indiana; three sons, Fred (Lois) Brown of West Virginia, Mark (Tracy) Brown of Greenwood, IN, and David (Karen) Brown of Franklin, IN; sister, Juanita Carr; brothers, Andrew Carr, Fletcher Carr, and Cardell Carr; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Friday, April 11, 2008, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Darrell Mollohan officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.
Friends may call from 9 am til 1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
