Ronald Earl Lyons, 79, of Ovapa, went to his heavenly home on July7, 2007,
his wife Dollie met him at the gates. She has been waiting for him since May 4, 2003.
He was a Korean War Vet, and had received the purple heart award.
Ronald retired from B&C machinery in Barberton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dollie, father Mart, mother Nora, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and a infant son Terry Dewayne.
Ronald is survived by his sister Maxine of Ivydale, brother Thomas
Lyons of Ivydale, daughter and her husband Peggy and Billy Grose of Ovapa, grandson and his wife Billy Jr. and Judy Grose of Ovapa, granddaughters and their husbands Billie Jo and Bill Baird, Cindy and Pete Hess, Mindy and Scott Eckberg all of Barberton, Oh., Misty and Josh Taylor of Bickmore,11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-children.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Jack Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyant Cemetery, Ovapa.
