Margaret Ann (Davis) Adams, 78, of Ivydale, entered into rest Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Born May 13, 1939, in Oley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Lenna (Carte) Davis.  In addition to her parents she was also proceed in death by her brothers, Orville, Ray, Russell and James Davis; sisters, Ruby Lumpton, Jean Hinte, Lucy McKinney, Mary Nottingham and Kathleen McLoy.

She loved music, dancing, quilting, photography and the mountains.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Verlin Adams of Ivydale; brother, Dennis Davis of Yulee, FL and sister, Ruth Chapman of Seville, Oh; brother-in-law, Garrett (Laura) Adams of Ivydale; mother-in-law, Irene Adams of Ivydale; many friends, nephews and nieces.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, at Strange Creek Cemetery, Strange Creek, with Jimmy Davis officiating.

Friends may gather with family from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 26 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of this sweet lady. She had the same smiling face everytime I seen her. She was a wonderful woman.
