Charles Lindburg Morris of Wallback, WV entered into rest January 9, 2021.
He was born February 9, 1930 in Ivydale WV, to the late Frank and Mae Morris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Janice Metz Morris,     2 infant children, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by 3 sons Charles Morris Jr. of Clay WV -- Roger Morris of Clay WV -- Ronnie Morris of Duck WV;  2 Daughters Brenda Duncan of Bartlett Ohio and Susan Fields of Ivydale, WV; He is also survived by 1 sister Ginny Chapman of Servia, WV; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Charles was a Korean War Veteran. He served as Corporal in the US Army with an Honorable Discharge on November 21, 1952.

Charles had a strong work ethic until he was disabled by a tractor accident in the early 1970s. He held several different jobs during his lifetime. He was a driver for Yellow Cab Company in Cleveland Ohio, he worked area saw mills, coal mines, was a truck driver and his most well known career of auto mechanic.    

Due to Covid 19 there will be a private graveside service (family only) at the McGlothlin Cemetery Rush Fork Road, Ivydale, WV. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson/Shamblin Funeral Home Chapel, Clay, WV.
