Owen Earl Parks, 82, of Ona, formerly of Clendenin, entered into rest Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Born October 19, 1932, in Procious, he was the son of the late Lantie and Dallas (Braley) Parks.
Owen is survived by Donna and husband Robert “Buttons” McComas of Ona, Todd and wife Shirlene Chapman of Big Chimney and grandchildren, Andrea Bellomy,   Robert “Bobby” McComas, sister, Dovie Starcher of South Charleston and Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay,  with Minister B.J. Smith officiating.  Burial will be in the A.L. Parks Cemetery, Twistabout.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Our condolences to Owen's family. He was a member of the 1952 Clay County High School graduating class and as one of our classmates we join in remembrance of him and it is a loss to that special class.
